Took several hours to really open. Initially there was light citrus and apple, but not much else. Several hours later, the fruits more open with citrus, pear, and baked apple, some reductive match stick, as well as mineral and stone notes. Medium body, medium+ acidity. Drinks well after a few hours open (or the next day), but for my palate this really needs several more years of bottle age to develop. One more left and I'll try to wait another 2-4 years.

Some weedy notes upon opening. On day two this has light notes of Lemons followed by caramel on a medium finish. Not obvious as a chardonnay. Nice acid driven style however, I suspect these grapes were well protected from sunlight. Will take a few years to be at its best.

Very light golden hue. Granny Smith! Quite malic in flavor as well, medium body. Definitely less fruity than previous bottles - I mistakenly paired this with a cream-based dish. Shellfish would be way better.
I have one remaining, I'll drink it soon, I think.

I would not guess that this is New World chardonnay. Very solid acid backbone, citrus tones - all in a restrained, elegant style.
Arterberry Maresh is, without question, one of my favorite Oregon producers.
