Floral nose with lychee, rich golden fruits, typical Gewurz spice. Rich grape/lychee jam on the palate with light sweetness, though this must be nearly dry at 13.5% (if the label is accurate) (...). Has that unique seductively buttery, slippery mouthfeel as well. Pretty good acidity for the varietal. Gewurz is not one of my favorites but wines like this are slowly bringing me around. Good value at ~$21, and a nice pairing with Vietnamese food at Bodega Bistro.
