  • A beguiling, dare I say exotic, highlighter-yellow color in the glass. This medium-bodied wine has notes of chironja, stone fruits and a hint of boozy lychee (which is never my fave though it’s no flaw). Very pleasant on a Spring day.

  • The 2017 was very good but this edges it. Light green / gold as it sits in the glass. The nose is totally exuberant and classic Viognier whilst retaining good freshness; dried apricot, fresh apricot, creamy yellow peach, violets, honeysuckle and orange blossom along with some salty citrus notes. The palate is gorgeous and shows superb balance between ripe stone fruits, acidity and a touch of minerality along with beautiful texture. Another excellent new world Viognier from a vastly underrated producer and portfolio. Drinking now, why wait?
