The most glorious glycerine like texture on the palette. Smooth as silk. Absolutely pure dark fruit. For the 5 of us who consumed this magnum, a truly memorable experience. Right up on par with the 2003, shared with the same friends 5 years ago.

This wine is extremely well made with plush fruit and superb soft tannins. There is no doubt about the quality. Dave Powell has since sold the business but some of these older bottles really show Torbreck's legacy. Lovely wine that paired great with a view of the bridger mountains and a delicate breeze!

This Grenache, according to my tastes, flirts with perfection. Powerful dark fruit, lovely mouth voting glycerine character. Smooth as silk and a massive long finish. Shared a magnum with friends who all raved about it. Right up there with the best Sine qua non I've had. Worth the money!

6ltr on Christmas. Still outstanding after 20+ years. Thanks Dave Powell for the sentiments!

In a much better place than my last note - very ripe but with enough development to show off some brightness of the fruit. At -5.5% still a big boy
