  • Beautiful aromatics. This is a really lovely wine. The acidity is a touch high right now. It's obviously very young, but right now this isn't where I would want it to be for $65. I do wonder if it might gain more savory notes with time. Maybe it's the acidity, but there's a very slight hollowness toward the back end. I'm nitpicking an incrediblely delicious wine here, but that's because it's really good, but not really great.

  • Very Burgundian in style. Translucent in the glass, showing a fine combination of red fruits, great depth and a little salinity. Power without weight best describes this wine. I likened it to a premier cru from Chambolle. Drinking perfectly after an hour n the glass. One of the best S and B Pinots I’ve had the pleasure to drink.
