Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of South American Malbec. That being said, this is pretty good. Some herbal notes in the nose. Medium bodied, not overly fruity, some tannic structure and oak are evident. Quite dry, adequate acidity. Moderate finish. Simple, deep flavors that do not demand one's attention. Easy drinking, but a decent food wine as well. Thumbs up!

Oak chips? ANd maybe replacing the Carmenere with Cabernet? Or over extracted Syrah. Tired. Roasted.
