15.7% abv. Rich, ripe blast of mouth-filling jammy fruit on the attack. A little confected note there, with a jarring sweet-tart-like acidity component muscling its way into the picture. Sweet alcohol makes its appearance on the mid-palate. Amazingly long finish from the throat-coating jam that just hangs on for minutes. Definitely the kind of wine that many "bigger is better" Paso-lovers seek. To me, this was interesting (having had tasted many John Munch wines in the late 2000s and early 2010s), but overall kind of disjointed and "weird". It was hard to finish the second glass of this, as I think this is more of a sipping aperitif type dessert wine.

Jammy fruity, more so than I remember the 2019 version. Might need more time, still good after 1 hour decant.

Medium dark garnet red. Moderate red stone fruit nose. Matching flavors with balance leaning slightly on the acid side. Ready to drink now.
