  • Cherry, raspberry, even some floral nose. On the palate, similar note. Medium bodied, finish a little bit short.

  • Delicious, just north of medium weight, with excellent depth to the strawberry, stone, and leather characteristics. Well-made, long finish. Will be good for another 5-10 years.

  • PNP. Very deep, bright magenta color. Maraschino cherry, raspberry, and anise on the nose. Smooth, dry palate, with vibrant acidity. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.

This is simple, but bold and engaging at the same time. Awesome QPR here. Shared a bottle with my lovely wife at Lush Wines in Chicago.

  • A round and rather refined Navarra wine that is entering its drinking window now. An unblended Grenache wine sourced from a single vineyard (clay-limestone soils / 35-year-old vines) in the village of San Martin de Unx, located about forty kilometers south of the city of Iruña (Pamplona). It was aged for twelve months in French 500-liter oak barrels. Color: quite translucent ruby-red. Bouquet: initially a bit shy but with some air it opened up with scents of elderberry, mulberry, eucalyptus and some slight tones of leather and orange zest. On the palate: a well-balanced, medium-bodied wine with juicy plum and red berry fruit with fine-grained tannins and a refreshing acid structure. Finish: satisfying aftertaste with a touch of mint. Drinking window: now–2025.

  • Translucent dark ruby color with black and red fruit, forest floor, dried herb, and subtle floral aromas. On the palate it's medium-bodied and very fresh with fine-grained tannins and ample fresh black cherry, strawberry leather, black raspberry and licorice flavors with engaging savory, herbal notes and a very satisfying finish. 14.5% abv| SRP - $26
