Not a great deal of fruit aroma left. Still has the sour cherry, raspberry flavors with a hint of spice. Longer finish than I remember from the first two bottles consumed years ago. Held up fairly well.

The last of my 06 Lewis pinots. The nose was a bit reticent at first. The brighter raspberry and sour cherry red fruits upon release have mellowed and have given way to a darker cherry, earth and that RR spice. There is still an overall refreshing lightness to the wine and decent acidity on the back end. Medium finish. Day 2 was a pleasant surprise. No flabbiness. Drinking nicely. Not my favorite vintage but holding together nicely. A very nice Russian River pinot noir.

PnP. Since last bottle 2 years ago, this has softened even more. I would almost use the descriptor flabby if there wasn't some redeeming acidity at midpalate and beyond. Red fruits dominate nose and palate. These are pure and expressive, but carry little/no complexity or depth. Spice and earth notes were less in play this time.

This one was a bit strange in its evolution in the glass. Opened at dinner and drank some right away. Nice red fruit - strawberry and raspberry. Nice balance. Poured another glass which sat for a few hours. Seems like the nose and fruit just dissipated. Not a bad second glass - but not nearly as nice as the first. I'll see what day two holds. I don't remember this happening on my previous bottle.

Drinking nicely now. 14.1% alcohol - just a bit of heat but OK. Raspberry, strawberry, slight red cherry. Some spice and earth. Good finish. Nice Siduri Pinot.
