Color/App: medium-deep yellow core; medium + viscosity. Slightly reticent nose that after some coaxing revealed lemon zest, white peach, vanilla and some wet slate minerality. A bit more zing on the palate showing citrus, green melon, apple and a touch of salinity. Honestly, I was hoping for more intensity given the "oldest, un-grafted vineyard ... vines averaging 150 yeaars old" bit. This is a nice, well-made wine that strikes me as no better than Nisia or other old-vine Verdejos. I'll age a few to see if it gains depth as a few of my favorite Verdejos have.

generic white wine, ageing in oak barely shows, its fresh yellow apple and lemon. fruit is slightly too ripe, and lacks the acidity to remain fresh. if anything it seems a little tired and oxidized, with a waxy texture

Solid. Cuts a good vibe with apple and quince taking lead on the base notes and pomelo peel on the top. Light on body.
