PnP. Nose of black cherry and raw meat, though brighter red fruit was shown when first poured. Smoky black cherry, ham, and cracked black pepper with a savory backbone. Smooth tannins deliver a gliding finish, adding dried red fruit, dried thyme, and summer savory.

Nose of bright red cherries, cough syrup, and wood. Palate brings roses, dark cherries, smoked ham notes, and smooth stones riding acidity. Smooth, silky tannins with red fruits, and earth on the medium finish. Nice juicy Syrah!

The cool climate source shows through on the nose, heavy on olive, violet and thyme, hints of pork belly. Mid weight palate, medium+ acidity, dark fruited yet fresh, low oak, linear palate progression. Good finish, mild tannins.
For my taste, this is built to drink within the next several years. The structure is largely resolved, there is no oak to integrate, and the aromatics are suitably complex.
Edit: Day 2, stored overnight in fridge in swing top. Drinking as well as yesterday, no improvement, no significant degradation. Nice feral, funky (but clean) nose, palate feels almost like a Tuscan red due to the acid-fruit-earth interplay.
