45 min decant, black cherry with a subdued vanilla undertone on the finish. Seemed to get better with more air and time in the glass. Went well with NY strip & rib eye while watching Breeders Cup and college football. Very nice WA Cab for the price point.

Not decanted. Dark ruby color in the glass. Moderate aromas of mocha, blackberry, boysenberry and graphite. The palate brings juicy ripe blackberry, prune, vanilla and forest floor. Acidity is medium-high. Tannins are medium and mostly resolved. Finishes at medium length. There is a bit of heat in the wine. Drinking well now and likely over the next few years.

Drinking really well. Lots of red fruit and very smooth after 2 hour decant. Long finish. Excellent wine for the price. Baer does not disappoint.

Black cherry and cassis on the nose. Bright fruit with hints of bell pepper on the palate with a spicy, acidic finish. Quite good.
