Salinic aromas lead on the nose nose that shows chalk, sea mist and oyster shell notes with bright scents of green apple, lemon, pineapple and star fruit with additional notes of white flowers, lees, farm butter and oak. The palate shows high-level acids with flavors of green apple, lemon curd, buttercream, star fruit and slightly under-ripe pineapple that are laced with the notes of saline, chalk and a hint of leesy characteristics. The finish is long. Whole cluster pressed. Barrel fermented. Natural and completed malo conversion. Aged in neutral French oak for 10 months on lees. Exceptional quality for the price.

Tasted after 30 minutes of air. Wow. Citrus and melon fruits explode on the palate. Zesty acidity. Very crisp but with plenty of oomph. Great tension here between fruit and acidity. Quite a bit going on here. One of the best QPRs in domestic Chardonnay. Long finish.

A perfect pairing with crab cakes on the deck last night. A superb value too.
