Reasonable mid-range St Emilion although at £20 probably too expensive to justify buying again. There is a dusty, dry dirt smell - a bit of soft fruit and plum on the nose. Taste: aging - good structure and balance - good tannins that balances reasonably well against the fruit. However I found this a bit plummy for my liking - especially given the price. I would expect more focussed fruit. After an hour the wine started to show some extra dimensions and complexity but falls short of what I would expect for the price. Might age a bit more - maybe 3-5 years - but no more. Overall good but not great.
