saline mineral galore! lemons, hay, fresh cut grass and a good acidic undercut. love this wine! Had it with oysters, smoked salmon and some caviar. Nice combo but the creme fraiche and smokey aromas where a bit hard to counter for this wine. The oysters (Zeeuwse platte) however, they where dancing and twisting together like there was no tomorrow ;-)

This is aging like a king. I got the feeling the wine has gotten even more intense in addition to my last TN> Pretty briljant wine this! Pale colour with low viscosity. laser sharp acidity, ripe lemon, waxy petrol notes, chalky minerality, salinity, complex and layered. Also the sur lie aging is more prominent with some lactic notes, it flirts a bit with the lesser oaked burgundy style.
This has years left I think en I'll save at least one botte to go for the long haul. And I am going to buy all remaining bottles available in NL ;-)

steady high performing Muscadet with now 10 (!) years on it. The fierce vibrant lemon has cooled down and now its all minerals from back to front.

This bottle was performing a bit less. Some oxidative notes on opening and nog really getting into the groove onwards..
