This wine was opened and poured. It did not show as well as expected. the wine showed aromatics of black fruits and forest. It was subdued and lacked vibrancy and definition. It was somewhat monolithic. The color is a dark ruby. The medium bodied palate showed balance but lacked complexity. Like the bouquet, the palate was more monolithic. The wine is nearing maturity and additional bottle age may not provide improvement over this showing.
