100% Shiraz, 14.5% abv, screw cap. Two hours decant. “Australian Shiraz” classic nose: powerful, rich and bold. We have flavors of vibrant black berries, plums, vanilla, lead pencil shavings and spices springing from the glass. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with a fairly high level of acidity and lots of fresh & zingy dark fruits. Langhorne Creek is a region of South Australia refreshed by the onshore southerly winds and we feel this spirit in the core. The tannins are still a bit grippy. Underlying flavors of chocolate, black pepper and eucalyptus add a winning complexity. Vanilla and smoky notes are more dominant on the finish. Better and better in contact with the air: the last sip was the best. So aerate a couple of hours if drinking now. Highly successful! [Photo on Instagram]

Yummy jammy maybe a little bit too jammy. Blueberry, blackberry, strawberry, vanilla, chocolate and a lot of pepper. A lot of pepper but again mostly yummy jam. Let's save some for the future and hope for more.
