  Notes from memory. Decanted 2+ hours ahead of dinner. Paired nicely with blackberry jam-covered halibut grilled on a cedar plank. Floral nose of lavender and violets. Really good concentration and intensity on the palate considering the hot vintage - was fresh and vibrant. Juicy tart blackberry began to emerge after an hour. Finish is still tannic so drink 2025-2035. Technical score: 92. Enjoyment score: 92.

  Ouvert et carafé 2 heures d’avance, très jeune pour un Lucien Boillot, mais il s’est révélé tout de même assez ouvert et délicieux. Du fruit noir, épices, élevage tout de même discret mais une belle puissance, tout en ayant un fruit très attrayant, de l’acidité, des tannins assez puissants mais de fort belle texture et donc un bel équilibre d’ensemble, très bien fait et très bon malgré la jeunesse. 91-92
  
  Open and decanted for 2 hours, very toung for such a wine but atill showed nice scents of dark fruits, spices, some oak but in a moderate way, nice crisp and fresh palate with some power but nicely textures tannins, good volume, excellent balance, gorgeous.
