  You will need to shake the bottle or splash decant this - plenty of CO2 which needs to be released. Otherwise, fruit driven and consensual in style. Not sure if there is any terroir to be found but it is enjoyable in a round and unchallenging way..

  Farven utrolig tæt. Sortrød med et lille modent præg. Man kan ikke se se bunden. Duften er meget præget af frugt med en moden tone. En tydelig frugtsødme, men også noget friskhed. Pæn kompleksitet. Mandel og lidt træfad. Smagen stor kraftig krop. Maskulin. Har masser af frugt med tannin og en god syre. Nogen bitterhed. Lang eftersmag. Det er tydelig en solmoden årgang, men også at der er iblandet Cabernet Sauvignon og Merlot.

  Tasted after a 90 minute decant.
  
  Dark purple, almost opaque.
  Nose… shy. With notes of dark fruit and spice
  Palate..generous fruit, plum, blueberry. Earth. Nicely balanced tannins and acidity.
  This Chianti is a little atypical, but it has generous fruit and an unctuous mouth feel that makes it really enjoyable. This was the last bottle in my cellar. I’m going to order another 6

  In der Nase sehr reife Kirschfrucht, etwas Blaubeere, beides sehr warm und fast wie eingelegt, aber in richtig gut. Dazu etwas Thymian, mit Luft etwas Vanille und deutlich Pfeffer und Piment.
  
  Am Gaumen ebenfalls sehr warm, daneben aber mit sehr saftiger Säurestruktur mit extrem viel Zug und überraschender Frische. Sehr schöner Fruchtbiss, sehr elegante dunkle Mineralik. Sehr viel aber sehr feines und recht geschliffenes Tannin.
  
  Deutlich lang, hier recht pikant und auch noch einmal mit deutlicher Wärme.
  
  Klasse.
