  Big, pungent aroma along the lines of struck match, petrichor, butter, quince and lemon/lime. On the palate it's similarly big and fairly oaky, but well balanced by plenty of tart acidity. Not totally cohesive at this stage, seems built for at least some short-term cellaring, but enjoyable. Good value at recent close-out prices.
