Enjoyed over 2 days. Classic gamay Beaujolais with little carbonic aspects. Rich for a gamay with good mineral, red current, and some structure. Held up nicely the next day.

Consistent with last tasting. Pomegranate (including pithy parts), black pepper. Its more elegant now but also not as mouthfilling. Still fantastic but not sure which version I prefer (I suppose this version). Killer for the price and should be great with PacNW salmon while I save my Cote du Nuits for Copper River salmon.

Medium ruby Aromatics medium. Forest floor, moss. Dry cherry. No new oak Palate has medium body. Acid medium. Tannins medium, medium grained on upper palate. Alcohol medium. Desiccated cherry. No secondary beyond some chalk. Finish has medium length. Balanced Overall seems dull with no typical Beaujolais qualities like crunchy fruit, jolly rancher nor other features to scream typicity. Drink now.

Ripe and juicy fruit
Not subtle, but I don’t look for subtle in Beaujolais
Medium body, medium + acidity, juicy tannins
