  • Just a little more full bodied than my wife and I like in a rosé. The 100% Syrah rosé doesn’t have the same elegance and lift that the other Scherrer rosé (a blend) has, so might be suited more to pairing with fall foods vs. back porch summer sipping.

  • PnP, chilled. This wine is all Syrah (while Scherrer's other rose is a blend of Grenache and Syrah). This wine is darker in color, and presents more medium red fruits like cherry and strawberry (especially after it warms up a bit), with sufficient acidity to remain cleansing, and a touch of minerality. Usually drink each vintage before the next arrives, but will certainly hold for a year or two.

  • Showing a little more body and less acidity than its sibling Dry Rosé. A fine quaff, but my preference is for Scherrer’s other rosé, which is one of my favorites.
