Last Tuesday Supper Club (One Penny Red, Summer Hill): Minty with earth, liquorice, gamey notes, plenty of peppery spice, spiritous alcohol, leather, slightly jammy blackberry fruit supports this on the nose. In the mouth there is juicy acidity, liquorice, blackberry (it's very fruit) softly tannic burr, alcohol warmth is nicely handled and in balance. Perfectly pleasant if not, oddly for it's age, a little bland.
