  100% Garnacha, 255 cases produced from a single vineyard. From a bottle open 24 hours ago. EYE: inky, slate blue, brick. NOSE: groomed, measured and stitched. Selective ripe raspberry shrouded in baking chocolate. Columns and arches of mineral structure. MOUTH: a virtuoso movement of organized, dense flavor. Kirsch. Chocolate. Black grape. Static, ornate tannins. A masonry chamber contains regulated, bursting expansions of licorice, violets, red currants, and espresso. The tannins dominate the drink in a way characteristic of the region—cool and determined. FINISH: forthcoming, bespoke details of savory spice resin and reticular acidity. A bitter and sweet, anise, black pitch lingers.
