Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • 100% Petit Manseng from 3 hectares of vines aged 20 to 45 years. Manual harvesting by sorting at the beginning of November. Aged in wooden containers for 8 months then 4 months in stainless steel vats. PnP without frills. The wine serves up a meaningful and smooth bouquet of apricot, peach as well as subtle flinty and pastry notes. With some time in the glass, its aromatic profile becomes more exotic with the appearance of roasted pineapple and mango. The palate is full-bodied, harmonious and masterfully balanced from start to finish. It delivers flavors of candied lemon, mandarin, some discreet honey and a hint of vanilla. A distinct acidity tightens the mouthfeel, refreshes and energizes the damn bulky liquor. Really, I had a crush on this one. It's a magnificent stuff!
