Fruity nose, lots of red fruit on the palate with fantastic mouthfeel. Definitely modern Napa cab, but isn’t a complete fruit bomb. Good acidity and noticeable pleasant tannins. Double decanted for an hour and a half before dinner and I might give this a little more time if I could right now, but this isn’t a bottle you can drink now or in 10 years. Very impressed, especially for the vintage.

Very rich and dense Cabernet, with very strong tannins that are somewhat overwhelming at this point. A high quality wine, surprisingly good given the vintage, which should improve immensely over time as the tannins settle and the distinctive Spring Mountain fruit becomes more prominent.
