Deep ruby colour. Pronounced and developing nose with dark plum, blueberry, blackberry, vanilla, black pepper, forest floor and eucalyptus. Pronounced taste of dark plum, red plum, blackberry, black pepper, vanilla, forest floor and eucalyptus. Long and sweet finish. High acidity. Medium tannins. Full body. A very good Single Quinta that drinks well now, and with great potential. Needed half an hour to open. Drink now or over at least the next twenty years. Goes well with cheeses or chocolate.

A super flavour combo of blackberry, liquorice, and rich dark chocolate laced with spice and menthol, and underpinned with melting tannins. Distinguished by a fine streak of acidity to offset the sweetness this was nicely judged with a super finish. Well worth the extra spend. CHP 91pts

Deep garnet hue, fruity nose. Plums and ripe fruit, mid-length finish. Felt young and not as rich and juicy as perhaps it could be, more development to be attained. Lovely evening tipple, the half bottle format a real winner here.
