Definitely recommend and a good QPR wine at the average CT acquisition price. A reasonable restaurant wine as well - we had it popped & poured tableside at Webb's Custom Kitchen in Gastonia NC. Drink or hold - in a mature drinking window right now, will stand up to a decant and with proper cellaring this has years to go. Full bodied, well rounded and somewhat fat making it an excellent steak wine, controlled core of fruit, oak and tannins, almost inky black, no bricking and a nice long aftertaste. Nose dark and full with dark stone fruit, raspberry and a hint of mocha. Flavor profile up front of big dark stone fruit, strawberry and raspberry with mocha and leather developing on the mid- late palate with a smokier finish.

Didn't take detailed notes but found this to show all the characteristic merlot notes, from dark red fruit, cocoa, wood. Not much complexity, but it's a pleasurable drinking experience, more so as it opens after one to two hours. As others have said, an excellent wine for the $20 price point. (I should probably buy a case for pizza night.)

Red cherry and berries. Good upfront fruit without being sweet or flabby. Some chocolate and a little spice & minerals give it structure. Good value Merlot, which is actually quite rare in my opinion.

Good flavors with a solid, dark core of fruit, but lacking much complexity or zip. Decent value at $20 or less.
