  • Clean pale with a touch of gold. Peach and rock melon on the nose. Nice tangy finish.

  • This 100% semillon needs to be served around 10-12*C, certainly not too cold since it covers up the wonderful aromas of lychees, ripe gooseberry and honeysuckle. The palate is slightly rich, fat yet with tremendous energy and bright acidity that wakes up all the senses. Fantastic persistence leading to a slightly saline textured finish.

  • Mosswood Zoom Tasting. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, yellow lemon colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of pear, green aple, green honeydew melon, quince. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol (14.5%), medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of rich pear and sweet green apple, quince, honeydew melon, citrus lemon curd. Thick viscous mouth-feel. Big long finish.
Very good quality. Always amazed how Semillon can hold its own so well even without oak influence. A wine for the future.
