I was shocked that this wine carries an RRV appelation, as it tastes like a generic "California" version, replete with evidence of oenological plastic surgery -- the most conspicuous being heinous overoaking with (I suspect) new oak chips. It truly reminded me of a bottom-shelf, supermarket Chardonnay. The fruit profile was vague and synthetic, with no distinct character. Spice and/or earth were nonexistent. The nose was at times chemical/plastic/Band-Aid, but I am certain TCA is not to blame here. Avoid.
