  Brilliant Riesling, tasted young to check its potential. Fresh nose of citrus and pineapple. Same on the palate. Good structure, a little nervous and young, but will certainly "come together" with age. Very nice effort and should be a beauty in a few years...92-95pts

  Excellent Kamptal-Riesling, grown on the volcanic slate and primary rock soils of the famous Heiligenstein vineyard, one of the very best Riesling vineyard sites in Austria (located in the village of Zöbing, about ten kilometers north of the city of Krems an der Donau / Niederösterreich). The wine was matured on its fine lees for nine months. Youthful straw-yellow in color with silver reflections and a delicious bouquet offering scents of white flowers, peach, orange zest and also a touch of flint and honey. Richly concentrated yellow stone and citrus fruit on the powerful palate, revealing a great fullness, an amazing depth and a serious but extremely well integrated acid structure. Persistent mineral finish. Already highly enjoyable now, but the wine will continue to develop for many years.
  
  Uitstekende Riesling uit het Kamptal, geteeld op de vulkanische leisteen- en ‘Urgestein’-bodems van de ‘Heiligenstein’ wijngard, één van de allerbeste Riesling-crus in Oostenrijk (gelegen in het dorpje Zöbing, ongeveer tien kilometer ten noorden van de stad Krems an der Donau / Niederösterreich). De wijn rijpte negen maanden ’sur lie’. Jeugdig strogeel van kleur met zilveren schakeringen en een heerlijk bouquet met aroma’s van witte bloemen, perzik, sinaasappelzeste en ook een vleugje vuursteen en honing. In de mond, een krachtige wijn gedomineerd door rijkelijk geconcentreerd geel steen- en citrusfruit, met een geweldige diepgang, een dito mondvulling en een stevige maar zeer goed geïntegreerde aciditeitsstructuur. Persistente minerale afdronk. De wijn is nu al heel genietbaar, maar hij zal zich nog gedurende vele jaren verder blijven ontwikkelen.
