This is a light yellow colored wine. There's lemon, melon, apple, and yeast on the palate. It's a medium bodied wine with lively acidity. The structure is consistent with persistent intensity. This wine is primarily Pinot Meunier which is probably where the apple flavor comes from. It's a very good wine for the price.

Retail $50. 50% Pinot Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay. We were looking for a new house champagne since our previous wine, Mailly Grand Cru, has now become so ridiculously expensive that it no longer makes sense. While I believe this bottle is heavier than it needs to be, the wine, given the cépage (majority Pinot Meunier), it is understandably fruity and floral on the nose. There is also a decided yeasty component, which I (and every other champagne aficionado) loves. The palate is tart and fruity, but also a bit sweet--I would like to see a bit lower dosage. In the end? Nice, but not our new house bubbles.
Cork Vault Bottle Share 9.1.22 (Charlotte, NC): Cuvee is 50% Pinot Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir, and 20% Chardonnay and all hand harvested. Notes of apples and ripe bartlett pears with fine bubbles. Elegant and flavorful on the palate. An easy and pleasing start to the night. A great value bottle to have on hand when the moment’s not right for Taittenger, etc

Great value. 80% blanc de noir. Great smell, elegant bubbles , easy to drink. Second half of the bottle with cheese made it even better.

A pleasant, all around champagne. Nice mouthfeel. Mostly light and one dimensional, but easy to enjoy by just about anyone.
