first class CM Premier Cru. On the Puligny side, the stone-flint characters a give-away. Long and complex, needs another five years, but will be a super wine.

Chassagne 2019 with Stannary (Zoom!): Thomas Morey founded his domaine in 2006. His brother Vincent's wines are more open and extrovert, whilst Thomas's are lean, racy and intense, and work well with the qualities of the 2019 vintage. He is an early picker and started on 6 September.
Chenevottes is near Chaumees, but closer to Puligny and, although still stony, has a little more clay.
A really bright, fruit-driven wine, reminiscent of GG Riesling, with a flinty nose and a lot of tension. Very long and mouthwatering, and seems really well-made, but not necessarily what I'm looking for in Burgundy.

Citrus, melon, and apricot with hint of toast. It was ripe but balanced. Good value. Very enjoyable. 90-91

Good balance and easy going. Lacks fruit clarity and concentration. Nice spices on the finish. (83-84/100)
