Something new & something familiar (FMIII backyard): Revisit again (opened already): It showed well at the tasting, but I believe this is best consumed cooler than cellar temperature (as it was on days 2 & 3). Cherry, blood orange, some spice today, very long finish of sour cherry. Juicy but well balanced with the acidity. I stand by my original impression of not letting it get too close to room temp or the cherry will overwhelm.

Double Fisted Champagne at Frank's: Checking Recent Buys AND Something Drinking Great Now (Frank Murray's Casa): I believe this bottle had been opened the previous night. Spicy and rich. I never would have put it on non dose blind. I think we also figured out its all 2017 fruit but not a 'vintage' wine under the Champagne rules...or maybe it is. Very rich in color too. Intriguing performance to get such power out of Meunier.

Serious Rosés at Full Circle: Dark red in colour. Predominantly blood orange and raspberry notes, a little too strict and devoid of fruit for me.
