Predominantly sour cherry and red fruits, touch of rose potpuri and earth on the nose. Sour cherry and red fruits on the palate, subtle black currants, plum, brambly wild berries and spice on the palate. Driven acidity well balanced with grippy tannin. Reasonable length. Drunk over a few hours, with numerous small pours- really started to show around the hour mark. This is a great value wine in, what I think, is its peak drinking window.

One of our favorites; possibly the best value wine that we have. We have drunk a lot of this: as others have said, it’s a perfect “house wine” to go with meals or have on its own. At $14 or so, the value is fantastic.
The nose on this wine is surprisingly good and complex for how inexpensive it is, especially if you give it a bit of time to open up. On the palate, it is light, easy to drink, and has a classic Nebbiolo profile of cherries with enough tartness and acidity to keep it interesting. A slight astringency on the (short) finish. It is certainly more “simple” than Barolo, but it’s half (or less) the price.

Clear medium ruby in color. The nose is youthful with medium intensity and notes of tart cherry, cranberry, strawberry, raspberry, wet leaves, wet stone, violet, rose, black currant leaf, and tomato leaf. This wine is dry with medium plus tannins, medium plus acid, medium plus body, medium alcohol and medium plus finish. The palate has medium intensity and shows similar notes as those found on the nose. The wine is of very good quality, drink now and age.

Bright cherry on open deepens inside medium full bodied gem. Great QPR.
