(Non-France) Pinot Noirs of North London (Must & Lees, Warren Street): In contrast to its flight-mate, this wine was far from mature, with a stemmy and somewhat reduced nose, and rather too much structure on the palate. It had an interesting prickling quality, like Sichuan pepper. The elegance and balance suggest this wine will turn into something pretty good, but for my palate that won't happen for at least a couple of years.

Non-french Pinot Noir (Must & Lees, Warren Street): Red with some purple. Young, perhaps only at the start of a drinking window, just about ready to go even it would likely be better in a few years. Quite rich, red and black fruit, but also a bit straight-laced at the moment, as if it has more to give but is constrained. I would say best to wait, I reckon this will flesh out and be rather attractive from 2026.

Nicely black fruited but just felt a bit flat and uninteresting to me. Contrary to previous reviewer, I didn’t get a sense of electric acidity which is common on great young PN, just some black fruits, which were a bit cloying and a bit of flabbiness from lack of acidity. Finish was a bit short. Drank this outside in 85 degree weather, so possible it was just too warm. Between that and the great things I’ve heard about PGC from others I trust I’ll hold off on rating, but this was unfortunately disappointing.

TWS North London - Pinot Noir ex-France (Must & Lees, Warren Street): Very drinkable but quite simple. Ripe, some autumnal leaves, red and dark fruit. New World-y

两次,这个酒都不open,要等到3小时以后,才勉强有点意思。品种特征不明显。三小时后,气味类似洗洁精,口中一点pinot的影子。
