This is the second night for this bottle. I found it a little bland on the first night. But tonight it fills the palate with cherries. It’s still a little subdued on the nose. Really good wine.

Winery visit. Aromas of fig & pomegranate with whole clusters complexity, along with black tea, clove, paprika spices and dried red flowers. Rich & seamless palate with vivid fruit and round secondary depth, integrated acid and fine round tannin. Finishing with big length. Perhaps as good as the 2018 Mysterious with a little more time in bottle. Great stuff.

Larger scaled wine from PG. Oak is present but we’ll balanced. Darker fruit profile but I wouldn’t say the ripeness is pushed at all. Seemed natural. Fruit profile does lean on the darker side but like the intensity and balance.

Willamette Valley 2022; 4/8/2022-4/9/2022: A little shy on the nose. Red fruit, anise, cherries. Really carries through on palate. Great mouthfeel, acid cord.
