Very dark color. Definitely getting the blue fruit like others. There's s a hint of chalk. Beautiful. There's a good story as to how the wine became named Notorious. You have to ask when you visit.

From a vertical 2010, 2011, 2012 library release. Opened all three bottles an hour before dinner. Served after the 2010 and 2011. Dark ruby and full-bodied. Complex bright raspberry, cherry, and black fruit (even blueberry?), with rose petal and savory spice. Front of palate attack, but then long finish. Paired with the usual roast turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry-orange chutney, (savory) sweet potato tart.

Very similar to my last bottle. Darker fruits predominate -- black cherry and blackberry -- with forest floor and spices. Layered and substantial, properly weighty and energetic, buttressed with a noticeable structure, leading to a long finish. Perhaps not as burly as, say a Bergstrom of the same vintage, but no shy wallflower either. An excellent pinot.

Nose with cherry and a bit of plum. Nicely constructed, light to medium body, pleasing finish. Some cherry and woodland. Good but was not blown away.

Deep garnet. Dark fruited. Lots of cherry. Silky, soft tannins. Long finish
