This is drinking really well right now, such a beautiful expression of a pinot noir. Sourced mainly from Anderson Family, Balcombe, Durant, Weber and Arcus Vineyard. This wine shows how the Jory soil (Volcanic) produces a wonderful fragrant, red fruit driven, lacy and mineral driven wine. Bright red fruit, crushed florals, minerals, crushed stones and all spice. The palate is lacy, fine and mineral driven, red fruit and crushed stones, along with black tea and bright sparks fill the mid-palate, tannins are super silky and fine, there is this wonderful crushed mineral stone characteristic of this wine that I love. Damn Oregon Pinot Noir is good, and PGC sets the standards.

The nose is tart and balanced with tones of plums, sour red cherries, violets, crushed rocks, fresh herbs, and a lot of bright and juicy red fruits. The fruit has a slightly upfront quality and a good bit of freshness. The Medium bodied feel is fresh and balanced with tart, medium+ acidity and silky, medium tannins. This is a fun Pinot from Patty Green. It could use a few years to come together more, but it does lack a slight bit of depth across the nose and palate.

Nose of berries, mushrooms, and a hint of barnyard. First impressions of berries with a hint of honey. Medium finish.
Pleasant sipping wine.

Starts out lean and tight and not giving much pleasure, after an hour open it gains some richness and sweet, pure fruit. Very nice. Needs a few years.
