Two years ago it felt short of complexity, yet with potential. Additional complexity has emerged, yet it remains a fine refreshing food wine. Pear and restrained stone fruits hold sway, yet with the early signs of honey emerging on the finish. Fresh but not strident acidity. I suspect this could do another couple of years improvement still.

Bright straw coloured with a fragrant nose with Sauvignon blanc grassy notes to the fore, together with bright lemon and some tangy peach.
On the palate, again it's sauvignon blanc taking the lead, but lemon again provides balance and it works well with the acidity to make for a very zesty wine. A decent to good length finish of some but not massive complexity.
I like this a lot, though at the moment would say the sauvignon blanc element is a little too dominant - but this is matter of personal taste rather than quality. This would be a great wine to offer someone who wanted to try something a little different to their usual NZ sauvignon blanc.

Italy (Wine Exchange (Orange, CA)): Reductive style here, all squeaky clean fruit (orange, grapefruit, gooseberry). Bright-rich flavors finish with a note of apple core.

A great summer white wine. Great pear and citrus flavors. A food wine, needs food to accompany it.
