  Lys gyllengul. Intens, tung duft av smørmalt, honningmelon, honning, et hint av urter og allehånde. Intens og svær i anslaget med stor konsentrasjon, tettpakket med frukt og smak av honningmelon, fersken og smørmalt. En temmelig breial vin som kan fremstå litt ‘flabby’ fordi det er så mye av alt unntatt syre, litt som en tung, hvit rhône. Jeg kjenner tretanniner, og vi har heftige 14,5 % alkohol! Det er voldsomt. Dette er nok litt ‘elsk eller hat’ - den er intens, svær og energisk, og jeg liker det.

  Friday hangout at Domaine (Chicago, IL): I didn't like this bottle anywhere as much as the last one that I had a scant few months ago. Likely that's a context thing more than the bottle being different. This one felt way too phenolic and heady, with some volatile elements and a bitter oiliness that was somewhat distracting.

  Fantastic! Yes, it lacks the depth of the Sauvignon’s or even the name designated wines but still this is singular stuff. Ripe stone fruit, honey, straw, dried herbs, mineral…. Full bodied but retaining finesse. I almost go Roussanne (texture) or a Sine Qua Non white blend (intensity) but this is more refined than that. No sharp edges or tartness.
  
  The meticulous winemaking and growing it takes in this part of Northern Italy to get something like this is beyond impressive. Thanks global warming. Drink now or hold.

  Dinner at 312 Fish Market (Chicago, IL): Whoa -- stunning, cool stuff. I've heard of this producer for a while but never actually tried a bottle of it. I'm super impressed, even if the flavour profile isn't one that I'm the most accustomed to. The nose is exuberantly floral and aromatic, while the palate is chock full of tart yellow fruit, more floral tones, and quite a taut vein of acidity. Compelling, interesting stuff.

  闻香有桃，杏，蜜瓜一类的果香，洋甘菊的花香，还有一丝赛美容的金属味，酵母带来的饼干味道，入口酸度中高，一丝矿物感，橡木桶影响明显，口感丝滑，有残糖，收口明显甜味，微辛辣感，有回苦，口中是洋甘菊一类的植物气息，成熟的桃，杏，蜜瓜香味，收尾是漂亮的焦糖，冰糖和花香，余味非常长。华丽而丰富的香味，酒体饱满，力量强劲，甜美热烈。92.5
