Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Pale straw color with a watery rim.

Nose of grapefruit skin, petrol, sage.

On the palate bright citrus and tart yellow apple.

Medium- alcohol, medium- body, high acidity. Has a nice, round mouthfeel with a chalky finish. The finish is medium length.

While it’s not very complex, it’s delicious now and seems to have the structure to age a few years. Some of the 2018s I’ve had recently were overly ripe so it’s nice to have one that tastes more in line with what I expect out of German Rieslings.
