Big fruity mature syrah. PnP. Best to wait an hour to let this settle down. Plenty of big/dark fruits and spice. Nicely balanced with good acidity. I think this is in prime time with another 2-4 years ahead.

Big, rich, flavorful Syrah. Tied for WOTN with another Stephen Asseo wine, a 2009 L'Aventure Estate Cuveé. Interesting label, oddly-shaped bottle; I'll miss seeing it. It could go another year, maybe two, but I can't say it will improve, so....

Dark, ripe, sweet fruit flavors. Red currant, inky, but not overly heavy. Mineralogy toward the finish. High alcohol but works with the ripe fruit. Could use some time in the bottle, but seems to have great potential. On the lighter side of CA Syrah.

Last bottle of this delicious Syrah. PnP and drank with pork loin roast. Still drinking at or near peak.

Notes consistent with previous. From Magnum and has significant life ahead. Enjoyed with Christmas roast.
