Ripe. Dark. Reduced on opening. Some spritz initially as well. Needed a lot of swirling. A lot of glycerin. As Chablis28 pointed out, this borders on being too ripe, but just stays in its lane. Good mid-week Bourgogne.

Opened 2hrs prior to dinner & slow-ox in Burg glasses & btl. Well this certainly is a window into the '18 vintage. A Becky Wasserman import. Semi opaque ruby red. Underbrush & dark fruit nose. Rich plummy dark fruit & spice along w/ mineral and underbrush on the palate. This reminds me a bit of '02 where the added ripeness pushes everything a bit more than I prefer. Walks up to the edge of jammy. I would prefer a bit more energy but this was tasty & quite good for the $20 I paid. 14.3% alc Solid week night Burg for earlier consumption.

Double decanted because of the spritz. Pretty ripe and dark in color. A bit of heat on the finish. 14.3% abv. Ok. But kind of boring.
