  Wonderfuf straw gold colour, almost still delicate for a 30 year old Auslese. Nose of pure tarte tatin, rich and buttery, with hints of sweet, ripe, mango followed by zinging acidity to balance the finish of sweet but subtle marmalade. Not as big, opulent and rich as other Ausleses from the Rhein in general but such style, class and sheer breeding sing pure class from the Mosel. So refined and lovely, everything you come to expect from a great producer, vineyard and vintage.
