Rather impressed with this village level wines, There is a good focus, good primary fruit of darker berries and pomegranate. solid structure suggests that this could be one of those villages you want to age for another say decade and find it well on the other side. Looking forward to seeing this evolution from this new wine making team!

From a 2,8 hectares plot, a Monopol of this estate, a predominantly chalky floor, the industrial family Bouygues now owns 51% of the stake of Rebourseau, before they bought Chateau Montrose too,
very dense violet color, the nose a basket full of ripe black cherry, surprisingly open and elegant, lots of cherry fruit, a mineral limy touch, very well balanced with great supporting acidity, very clean and focused, the aftertaste is long+ and the acid grip is indicating a long life ahead, benefits from an decent decant, can be enjoyed from now on and will easily hold another decade+, **(*-+ ?), around 90- 92(+)
A surprise 24 hours later, so pure, clean and mineral limy, great balance, depth and length, a high class bottle, 91+, lets say 92!
