Grande village. Forse ancora qualche anno avrebbe giovato a conferire maggiore morbidezza.

  • Clear, medium ruby colour. Clean, med+ intense aromas of griotte, red and black fleshy cherry, sweet and salty liquorice, bramble, roses, violets, light cloves and herbs w a bit of sweet raspberry and cranberry covered in cream. What a nose!
Dry, high acidity, medium bodied, medium alcohol and medium tannins. Med+ intense flavours of griotte, cherries, raspberry, green leaf, chalk, cream, bramble, forest floor, violets, roses and loads of liquorice. Med+ finish. This is brillant!

  • Very tight, needed tons of air and time in the glass to reveal sour cherries, cranberry, some indian spice, liqorice and fur.

Nice medium body, really appealing at the end of dinner with a good structure and pure pinot fruit.

Unlike many other Burgundy 2019s I have had recently, this does not make sense to open now, give it a few years in the cellar
