{screwcap, 14.5%} Pretty basic commercial stuff. Verging on off-dry for me, with barely any tannin, certainly not oaky, and lowish acidity. Anonymous jam-tinged red fruit, with a vanilla edge. Generally confected feel, with a short patchy finish; consistent with the general palate impression too. At some point in the past this was all Clare-sourced – the label for 2019 reveals the inclusion of Limestone Coast fruit as well.

Great little wine, punches above its price tag. All the depth and flavour you expect from the Clare Valley.
