  Thursday, November 23, 2000 The first wine of the new year (last wine of the century?). Typical bright purple, with banana nose, berry (raspberry or blueberry). Bright and fruity on the palate. Short finish. Quaffible stuff. For beaujolais nouveau, this is fairly well done. Great with the bourbon cranberry sauce! In waterford crystal with the bird on Thanksgiving. 11/24/00.
