  Nose of blackberry, blueberry, thyme, and wet oak. Brambly blackberry, wild blueberry with acidity, mint, violet, and lots of verve. On the tame finish, Vanilla bean, blueberry pie, tart plum, and wet slate before gentle oak and tannins kick in. The finish is a bit muted with less tannin or oak than expected.

  A nose of dark fruits and spices, dark garnet in color. A full bodied red, with black cherry, smokey pepper and spice on long finish, easy drinking. www.winelx.com

  Nose of wild blackberry, thistle, and sawdust. Palate has layers of blueberries, black raspberry and cracked black pepper all bristled with acidity and herbal notes. Finish provides a sheen of black cherry, polished tannins, a touch of black olive, and long-lingering black currants with a slight oak note. Balanced and easy drinking and less oaky than this bottling often is.
